Lancers dominate honors; 2 Owls named first-team All-State

Londonderry didn’t progress as far as it would have liked in the Division 1 state tournament, losing in the semifinals, but the Lancers showed their talent on the All-State team, with a whopping six players being named overall.

Skilled senior Lydia Simmons was named to the Division 1 first team and three Lancers — senior Torri Sailor and juniors Maeve Holland and Aliza Simpson — were named to the second team and two more were named honorable mention.

Joining Simmons on the first team were Timberlane’s Bridget Beaulieu and Rachel Morrier and Pinkerton’s Emily Harris. Morier and Harris are juniors.

In Division 2, the top player honored was Windham junior Clairee Putnam.
