North Andover’s boys took the first five places in a surprising 15-44 rout of Central Catholic in cross country. Zach Frahlich was first in 15:10 over 2.75 miles as the Knights took the first five places, all within 30 seconds.

Lexi Verrault was immense with eight aces among 14 service points and also led Pinkerton in digs as the Astros ripped Keene 3-0.
Buckley fights back
Jess Buckey recorded four kills in the fifth and deciding game as Timberlane rallied past 21-25, 25-23, 26-28, 25-16, 17-15. Christina Nye compiled a stunning 22 kills for the Owls.
Gilmore first again
Haverhill senior Riley Gilmore finished first for the second straight meet, but the Hillies fell hard to Dracut in girls cross country, 20-42.
Alicia Miller scored team-highs in kills (13), blocks (5), service points (19) and aces (11) as Methuen rolled over Everett 25-20, 25-4, 25-10.
Greenleaf rolls again
Connor Greenleaf continued to dominate his competition, shooting a 34 for medalist honors as Windham (192 points) bested Sanborn (225) and Milford (246)
Reddy breaks through
Methuen sophomore Jeff Reddy won his first varsity meet as the Rangers shut out Lawrence 15-48. Reddy was clocked in 16:33 over 3.01 miles, one second ahead of teammate Matt Marchand.
Sweeny stays hot
Windham junior Courtney Sweeny had a hat trick, giving her nine goals on the year, as the Jaguars ripped Hollis-Brookline 5-0 in field hockey.
