Bradley Jr., Ortiz homer in Red Sox' win

---- — :Star of the Game: Jackie Bradley Jr. was 1 for 3 with a three-run homer in Boston’s four-run second inning. He is 5 for 10 with a homer and double in his past three games.

Friendly Fenway: The Red Sox are 95-62, winning 95 games for the first time since 2009. Yesterday marked their final regular season home game this year. They finished 53-28 at home, which secures the best home record in the AL.

Second Star: David Ortiz was 2 for 4 with his 29th homer of the season. He also doubled, his 37th of the year.

Doubront’s Line: Felix Doubront, making his first start since Sept. 6, went 7.0 innings, allowing two runs, both earned, on four hits and two walks while striking out two. He improved to 11-6 and lowered his ERA to 4.08.

Odds and Ends: Franklin Morales pitched a scoreless eighth, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out one. ... Koji Uehara pitched a perfect ninth inning to record his 21st save. ... Ryan Lavarnway knocked in the Red Sox’ first run with an RBI single to right center. Lavarnway scored on the Bradley three-run blast. ... Daniel Nava and Stephen Drew each had a single and run.
