---- — It was another tough week of picking games in the “I Beat Burt” contest. At least for the rest of us.
For Tammy and Edward Bioren of Haverhill, it’s not so tough. For the second week in a row, the two family members picked more winners than executive sports editor Bill Burt did. Tammy had 10 winners and Edward had 12, while Burt had nine of the 15 correct.
Last week, Tammy and Edward both won T-shirts as well.
In all, only 42 of the 320 entries picked more winners than Burt did.
Each week a maximum of 10 T-shirts are awarded. The first tiebreaker is the Patriots point total (30). The second tiebreaker, which was used as several entries were within three points, is total correct selections.
The Week 4 T-shirt winners are:
Ken Pellerin of Groveland, Helen Reynolds of Atkinson N.H., Rick Kasabuski of Saugus, Nancy Stearn of Hampstead, N.H., Patti Goudreault of Newton, N.H., Chip Holdsworth of Methuen, Tammy Bioren of Haverhill, Michael Simonian of Methuen, Roger Hickey of Reading and Edward Bioren of Haverhill.
