WORCESTER — Lowell's Michael Swift scored with 4:25 left in regulation to tie the game, but the Devils allowed a goal in overtime and fell to the Worcester Sharks 4-3.
Lowell took a 1-0 lead at 14:36 of the first when Tyler Eckford released a shot from the blue line, and Patrick Davis stuffed in the rebound.
Worcester would knot the contest, then take a 2-1 lead. But Lowell evened the score five minutes later after Alexander Vasyunov scored his 10th of the season. The Sharks again took the lead, setting up Swift.
Lowell travels to take on the Springfield Falcons tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
