Northern Essex closes out with 2 wins

Northern Essex men’s basketball closed out its season with a 59-47 victory over Quinsigamond on Monday and a 83-59 win over Holyoke yesterday.

Northern Essex finished 11-15, winning two more games than last year.

Matt Sifferlen of North Andover netted 15 points on Monday, then 12 points yesterday.

Kyle Davis of Haverhill netted 14 and added 13 rebounds on Monday, then poured in 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds yesterday.

Wil Andujar of Lawrence netted 12 points yesterday, while Junior Veras of Lawrence posted eight points and eight rebounds and Jarvis Castro of Methuen had nine points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ryan Freeman of Methuen added eight points yesterday.
