Haverhill Senior Baseball sign-ups for anyone in the Haverhill area are March 9 and 16 at the Haverhill YMCA from 10 a.m. until noon. There will be one division for 13-year-olds and one division for 14-15.

Methuen Cal Ripken will hold tryouts for ages 11/12 at Play Ball in Salem, N.H. this Thursday, March 7 from 5:30-9 p.m.. Makeup tryouts for ages 9 through 12 will be Sunday, March 9 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Contact methuenbaseball@verizon.net or www.methuenyouthbaseball.com for more information.

Methuen Babe Ruth will hold tryouts Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 at RippCity in Haverhill — 16-year-olds will be 5-6 p.m. Friday and 13-year-olds 6-8:30 Friday with 14-15 year-olds Sarurday from 5-8:30 p.m. For more information, contact methuenbaseball@verizon.net or www.methuenyouthbaseball.com.

South Lawrence East Little League will again hold a challenger division for children with disabilities for the 2013 season. Registration is March 9 from noon to 3 p.m. at The Firemen’s Relief Inn at 1 Market St. in Lawrence and March 16 and 23 at the baseball field behind South Lawrence East Middle School at 65 Crawford St. in Lawrence. There will be T-ball (4-6), girls softball (8-15), Little League (7-12), Jr. Babe Ruth (13) and Senior Babe Ruth (14-15). For more information, call 978-390-2351.

The North Andover Thunder 30-and-over men’s team is looking for players for the upcoming 2013 season. The 25-30 game season runs from April until September with indoor tryout/workouts starting this month. This is a wooden bat/hardball league. League information: http://www.bostonmsbl.com/.
