BRADY WINS AGAIN

For a new NFL-record 23rd time, Tom Brady was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Brady was quite impressive in the Patriots’ 42-14 victory over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, completing 21 of 35 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.

SUBBAN PLAYING WELL

Boston Bruins 2012 first-round draft pick, goalie Malcolm Subban, has allowed 2.17 goals per game in 26 games so far this season for the Belleville Bulls.

A 107-2 WIN

The Bloomington South High girls basketball team in Indiana rolled to a 107-2 victory over Arlington High of Indiana.

“No it’s not OK but (Bloomington South coach Larry Winters) will have to live with that,” first-year Arlington coach Ebony Jackson told the Indianapolis Star. “If that’s how they want to carry themselves, that’s fine. I’m focused on me and mine and we’ll just keep going.”

Winters told the Star that Arlington was playing an aggressive 2-3 zone and added: “I didn’t tell my girls to stop shooting because that would have been more embarrassing (to Arlington). We were not trying to embarrass them or run up the score.”

ROSARIO ON MOVE AGAIN

Sandy Rosario is on the move again. After his second sting with Boston this offseason, he was claimed by the Chicago Cubs yesterday.

Until this offseason, Rosario had never been with any other team since being signed as an amateur free agent my the Marlins in 2004. Miami put him on waivers earlier this offseason and he claimed by the Red Sox Oct. 17.

Then, the Red Sox put him on waivers and he was claimed by the Oakland Athletics on Nov. 28.

Oakland then put him back on waivers and the Red Sox claimed him Monday.

Now, he is off to the Cubs.
