Fast start

The Phillips Academy boys lacrosse team scored the game’s first eight goals in a 10-5 defeat of New Hampton. Andover’s Austin Gaiss had a pair of goals for the Big Blue.

Stingy Hornets

North Reading’s boys lacrosse team allowed only two goals in the last three quarters in a 13-5 victory over Swampscott. Nick Day had three goals and three assists and Nate Seed added three goals and two assists to lead the Hornets (3-0) on offense.

Raider romp

The Central Catholic baseball team did it all in an easy 12-0 romp over Sandwich. Liam Doherty went five two-hit innings for the win while Cam Devanney had two hits and three RBIS and Brady Abraham had two hits and two RBIs. Anthony Licari chipped in with three hits and scored a run.
