Here is the wrap-up on yesterday's Round of 16 action.

Salem 69, Pinkerton 64 — Pinkerton trailed by as many as 13 points before coming back to tie it. Andover 92, Haverhill 65 — Brian Miller pumped in 18 points and Kevin Polanco and Connor Arnold added 15 points apiece for the winners. Dennis Driftmeyer led all scorers with 21 points for the Hillies.

Lawrence 84, Pelham 53 — Pelham was no match for Lawrence, which got 25 points from Jorge Escoto, 18 from Justin Nieves and 14 from Jose Berroa. Justin Hojlo pumped in 12 points in defeat.

Acton-Boxboro 82, Methuen 76 — In a brilliant performance, Methuen's Eddie Gonzalez erupted for 33 points including seven 3-pointers but A-B pulled it out behind Brett Miller's 27 points. Mike Gorman added 19 points for the Rangers.

Tyler Pacheco (4 hits) and Steve Clark (3 hits) had big days at the plate with three hits apiece but Derry, which took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, yielded eight runs in the bottom of the frame and could never get back in it. Clark also pitched well in relief of Doug Schultz.
