---- — EPPING — A steady ground game one long pass and a relentless defense kept Pelham undefeated yesterday afternoon.
The Pythons scored one touchdown in each of the first three quarters and let the defense do the rest in a 21-7 victoery over Epping to improve to 5-0.
Nick Johnson started the scoring with a 30-yard TD run in the first quarter and Chris Benjamin made a nice move to complete a 60-yard pass play from quarterback Joe Slattery in the second quarter, making the score 14-7 at halftime.
Chris Medeiros, who led all rushers with 83 yards on 11 carries, completed the scoring in the third quarter with a six-yard run.

The whole defense was steady throughout the game but Tyler Kosik stood out from his linebacker slot, making tackles from sideline to sideline and causing two fumbles.

“He had a great game.”
