Greater Lawrence’s boys lost its cross country showdown of unbeatens with Greater Lowell, 26-33, but you couldn’t fault No. 1 man Yosvaldy Tejeda, He broke his own course record by more than 20 seconds, placing first on the home 3.06-mile course in a superb 15:58.
In the girls meet, won by Greater Lawrence 20-36, No. 1 runner Carmen Rivera also set a school record while finishing first, by over a minute, with a 21:14.
