Fast facts: The last two years have been the first times in the program’s 12-year history that Andover has made the North finals. ... John McVeigh stepped down after compiling a 168-33-2 record in eights seasons. New coach Liz Keady also is Andover’s girls hockey coach. She played five different sports, including lacrosse at Milton Academy, and then was the captain of the ice hockey team at Princeton. She played with the U.S. National hockey team and was the last forward cut from the 2006 U.S. Olympic team.
