Coach Colleen Gibbs (5th year, 47-25-11): "(Nicoline Holland) definitely knows how to find the back of the net. She has a nice shot. Nicole (DiMaio) is speedy and skilled and Olivia (Putnam) is very aggressive to the ball on defense."

Assistant coach Lisa Rasanen, formerly Lisa Jensen, was a North Andover ball girl in the sixth grade and went on to be a two-time Eagle-Tribune all-star and a two-time all-American at Merrimack. ... Caitlin Enright, a former field player, will be the keeper. She attended a goalie camp and had individual training during this offseason.

Coach Bud McCarthy (24th year, 327-82-48): "The good news is we're returning three out of our top four scorers. ... But honestly I don't think we have a player you need to shut down to beat us. The offense is going to have to come from both up top and the midfield."

Coach Greg Scruton (3rd year, 12-16-6): "(Haley DesRosiers) had a very good last year, and I'm sure the opponents will be looking to mark her. So we're looking to include everyone in the offense and attack as a group."
