Douglas Morin had a Thanksgiving to remember in 1978. The 5-6, 155-pound junior rushed for 282 yards and three TDs as Greater Lawrence blitzed Whittier 34-12. The next year the rough and tough Morin made Eagle-Tribune All-Star as a defensive lineman!

Although just 5-7, 140, Manny Silva was the Big Manny on Campus. He didn’t throw often but he made them count. Jeff DiBurro rushed for 227 yards and scored four times as Haverhill whipped Salem 32-6. Bert Tucker scored for the Blue Devils. ...
