Final Score: Crucioli in command for Knights

Commanding Crucioli

North Andover senior Kim Crucioli had her second straight superb game in a 5-0 win over Billerica, striking out 10 without walking a batter while scattering six hits. Sophomore Dahlia Decologero had three hits, including a triple, stole two bases and scored twice.

Big Mac Attack

Lauren MacGregor captured the 100 meters (13.41) and triple jump (34-10.5) to help lift Salem past Concord 76-68.

Scoreless half

Pinkerton posted a rare scoreless second half to rally from a 9-5 deficit for a 12-9 win over Bedford. Erin Coutts and Maggie McCarthy each had three goals on the day and Chevy Collins spearheaded the defense.

Pierce power

Jonathan Pierce drove in all three runs in Methuen’s 3-2 win over Tewksbury. He stroked a two-run single in the first inning and a RBI double in the third.

Doing it all

Sophomore Kayla Riley hurled a two-hitter and also went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and three runs to lead Whittier over Notre Dame of Tyngsboro 14-2.

100th for Smith

Jason Smith won his 100th game as head coach of Methuen in a 10-1 win over Lawrence. Sophomore Kayleigh Forgetta picked up the win with a five-hitter, striking out six, and freshman Kathleen LeFebre hit a two-run homer.
