The Pentucket boys and girls combined to win the six-team Henry Sheldon Classic. Top efforts included winners Cooper Carifio (100), Ian Mitchell (200), Ali Attenasio (10-0 pole vault) and triple winner McKenna Kilian (400, high jump, 4x00).
Connor Donahue struck out 15 in six innings, allowing just two hits and helped his own cause with a triple, two hits and three RBIs as Pinkerton blasted Exeter in baseball, 10-2.
Pinkerton’s girls lacrosse team zoomed out to a 16-0 halftime lead in a 24-2 romp over Manchester Memorial. Kennedy Daziel and Maggie McCarthy led the way for the Astros with five goals each.

In what was supposed to be far more competitive, Salem’s unbeaten (5-0) volleyball team swept Windham 25-14, 25-19, 25-14. Eric Denning combined seven kills and three blocks for the Blue Devils.
