MANCHESTER, N.H.–Sunday afternoon proved to be a tough one for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, who took it on the chin, 15-2, thanks to the Binghamton Mets.
A crowd of 7,463 watched the Mets pound 13 hits and mix in 11 walks for 15 runs, the kind of triple-double every baseball team would dread.
Deck McGuire took the loss for the Fisher Cats. The lone New Hampshire highlight was Ricardo Nanita’s home run.
After a day off today, the Fisher Cats welcome New Britain in on Tuesday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
