Final Score

Berroa amazing in return

After the gruesome leg injury many thought could be career-ending a season ago , returning to the court was already special for Lawrence’s David Berroa of Brooks. But he turned it from inspiring to amazing.

Berroa scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half and overtime, including the 3-point later in OT that gave Brooks the lead to stay in a 58-56 thrilling victory over Lawrence Academy.

Thrilling opener

Windham’s wrestling team, trailing by 23 points entering the last four weight classes, rallied for a dramatic 40-39 victory over Campbell. Chris Ferri, Corey Alberico and Kody Folsom all had first-period pins in the rally. Zach Sprague had a pivotal 13-3 major decision at 120.

‘Low’ win for Astros

Derek Low recorded a stunning 26-24 decision at 106 pounds to highlight Pinkerton’s season-opening 45-27 victory over Manchester Central. The Astros won the last four weight classes with Hunter Morris starting the string with a 48-second pin.

Impressive debut

Windham transfer Tyler Siverhus recorded a pin early in the third period in his first match for Salem as the Blue Devils whipped Keene 54-21. Jon Rheaume, Jake Peck and Dominic Gigante had first-period falls for Salem.
