Londonderry falls to Concord

CONCORD — Lononderry fell behind by 16 points in the first half and could never recover during a 44-28 loss at Concord.

Dylan Cole hauled in a 23-yard pass from Michael Ryan as time expired in the first half to give the Lancers some hope, cutting the gap to single digits entering the second half. But Concord scored four more touchdowns in the second half and Londonderry could not keep pace.

Jonathan Young led Londonderry’s rushing attack with 128 yards and a touchdown. Michael Ryan led the air attack with seven receptions for 80 yards and pair of touchdowns.

Londonderry travels to Manchester West on Friday (7 p.m.).
