Methuen’s Mike O’Donnell placed 10th in the mile at New Balance National Indoor in New York City yesterday
O’Donnell ran an indoor personal best 4:14.88, which is about a second faster than he had ever run the event before.
The senior will run at UConn next year. He was the Massachusetts All-State champion in the mile earlier this winter, running a time of 4:15.81. It was announced at the All-State meet that O’Donnell’s time was the 15th fastest mile time in the country this winter.
