KEENE, N.H. — After staying close for the first half, Timberlane’s opportunity for a .500 season fell apart during the final two quarters as Keene ran away for a 35-6 win.
Timberlane (4-6) scored late in the fourth quarter when Tyler Furey went in from 10 yards out, cutting the gap to 28-6.
“We played pretty well in the first half, on both sides of the football,” said Timberlane head coach Kevin Fitzgerald. “Offensively we had trouble finishing drives.”
Josh David led the Owls with 103 yards while Furey added 29. Erik Nelson passed for 76 yards.
