MVC Girls Cross Country: Gilmore, Hillies should be in hunt

---- — :OUTLOOK: Lowell, which has been a boys cross country power for years, has stepped it up on the girls’ side in recent years. The Red Raiders are the team to beat in the MVC in Division 1.

Andover should challenge with a healthy Leila Aruri leading the way and longtime power Haverhill, led by standout Riley Gilmore, will be dangerous if it can avoid the injury bug.

In Division 2, North Andover looks improved and should battle it out with Dracut for top honors. Central Catholic will depend on Tiffany Simione to lead the way.

Hanson and Killkelley have run track in the past and look like they could help us. Haq is healthy for the first time in a year and has looked great.”
