Raiders topple Prep
With the match tied at the last pairing, Central Catholic’s John Keenan came up huge, shooting a 39 to lead the Raiders to a narrow three-shot victory over defending Division 1 North champ St. John’s Prep.
Michael Skarbelis scored a hat trick in the second half to blow open a one-goal game and power North Andover to a 4-0 win over Haverhill.
In her first start, Sam Mague led the defense while Hannah Pesci scored twice as Windham soccer blanked St. Thomas 2-0.
Salem decks Memorial
Connor Decker stopped six shots and Bryant Borges, Christian Moreno, Andrew Doucette and Darren Righini scored as unbeaten Salem (4-0) topped Memorial 4-1.
Jacob Fudge scored 12 minutes into the second half and shortly after Julian Brosi stopped a penalty shot as Whittier beat Shawsheen 1-0.
