Merrimack wide receiver Isaiah Voegeli became the fourth player in school history to sign with an NFL franchise.
He inked an undrafted free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“I am still speechless,” Voegeli said in a release. “All I can say is to God be the glory. I am so grateful for this opportunity. I can’t thank head coach Dan Curran enough for his help and guidance and preparation to get me to this point. This is a dream come true that I’ve dreamt about since I was 7, to just have a shot and I’ve been blessed this opportunity.”
Voegeli was named an All-American and Northeast-10 Conference MVP after leading the nation in receptions (10.8) and yards (150.0) per game this past year. Voegeli recorded an NE-10 record 108 catches for 1,500 yards and 14 touchdowns in 10 games.
