Sutton dominated the first half, putting 14 shots on the cougar’s senior netminder Olivia Zizza of North Reading, and she stopped 12 in the half, and 17 in the game.
Austin’s only goal was sandwiched between the two Goulet goals when they also took advantage of a corner kick by senior captain Allyson Braciska and her kick would be headed in by senior Katherine Swierk at 23:00.
Sutton, the number 2 Central Massachusetts seed, ended with a 20-1-2 record.
