Area NHIAA Hall of Fame inductees

Patrick Corbin

Salem, N.H.

A longtime principal in the Salem school system, Corbin was the 2000 New Hampshire High School Principal of the Year and a finalist nationally.

The Windham resident later moved on to be the first principal at Nashua North High School in 2004.

As a principal, he fought for equity in sports between males and females. When the football boosters put lights on Salem’s Grant Field, Corbin allowed the field hockey team to play the first night game there.

Corbin and his wife of 44 years, Sandy, graduated from Keene State College in 1968.

Ryan Mihalko

Football/Basketball/Track and Field Athlete

Pinkerton, Class of 1987

One of the region’s all-time great talents, he put Pinkerton Academy football on top of Division 1 back in 1985, setting a tradition that has remained since.

In four years, he gained 11 varsity letters in three sports. For four straight seasons, he led the Granite State in football scoring.

A New England champion in the javelin, he was named a Gatorade All-American in both football and track in 1986 and 1987.

Mihalko went on to Notre Dame University, where he stood out in special teams and earned 8 varsity letters in football and track.

He now lives in North Carolina.

Football/ Lacrosse Coach

Pinkerton Academy

A 1975 graduate of Bridgewater State College, his coaching career at Pinkerton has spanned over three decades.

One of the winningest all-time two-sport coaches ever, he owns career marks of 259-101 in football with 10 Division 1 state titles and 434-128 in lacrosse with nine state championships.

O’Reilly has served on three winning coaching staffs in the New Hampshire/Vermont Shrine Game, twice as the head coach.
