Salem, N.H.

A longtime principal in the Salem school system, Corbin was the 2000 New Hampshire High School Principal of the Year and a finalist nationally.

The Windham resident later moved on to be the first principal at Nashua North High School in 2004.

As a principal, he fought for equity in sports between males and females. When the football boosters put lights on Salem’s Grant Field, Corbin allowed the field hockey team to play the first night game there.

In four years, he gained 11 varsity letters in three sports. For four straight seasons, he led the Granite State in football scoring.

A New England champion in the javelin, he was named a Gatorade All-American in both football and track in 1986 and 1987.

Mihalko went on to Notre Dame University, where he stood out in special teams and earned 8 varsity letters in football and track.

He now lives in North Carolina.
