The Providence Bruins rallied by scoring three goals in the final period to beat Manchester 5-4 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center yesterday.
Providence's Andrew Bodnarchuk netted the game winner with 48 seconds left.
The Monarchs led 3-0 about midway through the first on three power play goals.
Manchester's other goal was shorthanded and came during the second period.
But the Monarchs surrendered a 4-2 lead entering in the third.
Manchester goalie Jonathan Bernier made 36 saves.
Brandon Segal, Bud Holloway, Corey Elkins and Joe Piskula scored for Manchester.
