Football

Tickets for the Thanksgiving Day football game between Andover and Central Catholic will be sold through tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Andover High School athletic office. Tickets also will be sold today through Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Central Catholic athletic office.

Tickets in advance are $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets cost $7 for adults. All tickets sold at the gate before the game will be $7.

The Haverhill High School athletic department will pre-sell tickets for Thursday's Haverhill-Lowell Thanksgiving game. Adult tickets will be sold for $6 with student tickets being sold for $4. These tickets will be sold through tomorrow morning, ending at 11 a.m. After 11 a.m. tomorrow, all adult and student tickets will have to be purchased at Haverhill Stadium on Thanksgiving Day for $7 each.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Slater Anderson Memorial alumni race is set for Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Winnekinni Park at 1 p.m. Donations to the Slater Anderson Scholarship are encouraged the day of the race.

The Bradford Huskies boys cross country team, paced by 10-year-old Joey Weston, came in first at the USA Eastern Regional Junior Olympics in Augusta, Maine to qualify for the nationals in Reno, Nev., Dec. 12. Weston came in first overall on the 5K course.

WRESTLING

The Haverhill Youth Wrestling program begins Dec. 1 at the Consentino School gym. Practices will be on Tuesday and Thursdays between 6-7:30 p.m. Sign-up is at the Senior Citizens Center Recreation Department on the second floor. For more information, contact Mick Lawlor at 508-962-2763.
