Basketball

Pentucket Girls Basketball Youth Night is Jan. 12.

Pentucket will be hosting Georgetown at 6:30 p.m. Any child wearing a youth basketball team jersey will be admitted free of charge and receive a team picture. After the game, there will be an opportunity to meet the players and obtain autographs.

The Central Catholic freshman girls doubled up on Chelmsford, 38-19. Chelsea Espinola scored eight points and Allie Tierny added six points.

Baseball

Haverhill Senior Baseball will be Jan. 23 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Haverhill Library. The spring season has divisions for 13-year-olds and 14-16 year-olds and runs from mid-April until the end of May. DB's Baseball/Softball Academy in North Andover is holding New England Firebird AAU 14U tryouts on Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. Also, the 18U softball team is looking for a catcher. For more information call 978-687-3400 or visit dbbaseball.com.

Greater Haverhill-Pentucket Youth Hockey will be conducting its Learn To Skate clinic Saturdays at 11 a.m. at Veterans Rink in Haverhill beginning Jan. 9. An HECC approved hockey helmet and single blade hockey skates are

North Shore Lacrosse is accepting registrations for their High School
