NEWARK, N.J. — Nick Palmieri scored twice, including the game-winner with 59.3 seconds left in regulation, to help the Lowell Devils defeat the Hartford Wolf Pack, 3-2.
It was the Devils' first-ever regular season game at the home of their NHL affiliate, the New Jersey Devils.
After the Wolf Pack had battled back from a 2-0 deficit, Palmieri sent a wrist shot along the ice that sneaked through the pads of Steve Valiquette. Tim Sestito gathered his second assist of the game on Palmieri's team-leading 14th goal.

The two teams entered the second in a scoreless tie, but the Devils' league-leading power play delivered.
First, Matt Taormina's wrist shot from the point ricocheted off a skate and over the shoulder of Valiquette at 2:37. Four minutes later, Palmieri sailed in his first of the night from the far point for a 2-0 Devils lead.
Jeff Frazee made 28 saves for his eighth win of the season.
Cliche lifts Manchester
MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Manchester Monarchs edged the Springfield Falcons, 2-1.
Marc-Andre Cliche put up his second goal of the night and ninth of the season at 1:11 in the third period to cinch the win.
