WILMINGTON, Del. — The Merrimack men's soccer team rattled off its third consecutive win to begin the 2010 season, handing Wilmington a 5-3 loss.

Olof Lindhe, Robbie Sabadoz, Evan Burokas and Franklin Pena scored and the Warriors also had an own goal.

The volleyball team fell to AIC 25-19, 25-22, 25-16. Molly Cindric led the Warriors with 10 digs and eight kills.

The field hockey team lost to Franklin Pierce 4-0.

GEORGETOWN — The competitor in Tyler Wade says he's just not going out like this.
After suffering through some tough abandonments by members of his senior class in both football and hoops, Wade has endured through two extremely tough seasons — 1-9 on the gridiron and currently 6-12 on the hardwood.

He's our Valentine

BOSTON — Happy Valentine's Day, Red Sox fans.
The "Valentine" I'm referring to, of course, is the one now based out of Yawkey Way in The Fens — Bobby Valentine. And he is only hours away from finally putting on that Red Sox uniform in the balmy Florida sun.
