The Owls threw a scare into eventual champion Nashua North last spring before falling 3-1 in the semis. ... Jeff Singster follows in big brother, P.J.'s shoes. Cameron Toohey, a promising sophomore, comes from good stock. His dad, Brian, is in the Greater Lawrence Tech Hall of Fame. ... As of Friday, Timberlane was still seeking a freshmen coach.
