PLAYOFF PICTURE: Central has Billerica and Andover left. Andover has Lowell, Billerica and Central. If both sides take care of business, it becomes the biggest Thanksgiving game this area has seen since Chris Lane piloted Central to victory in the 1989 classic. Which actually was snowed out on Thanksgiving.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: Shawsheen can basically lock down on the CAC Large title by knocking off Whittier Saturday. Whittier, if it can rebound from last week’s non-league loss to North Shore, would put itself in strong position with a win Saturday. Then the Wildcats could play for the title on Thanksgiving against Greater Lawrence.
