Nobody is perfect, but the Eagle-Tribune sports staff appears to have gotten it right more often than not when picking the Harold P. "Max" Bishop Award as the top three-sport athletes among the 22 schools in the region.
The Bishop alumni includes a Super Bowl champion, several All-Americans, a two-time national champion, Hall of Famers, several two-sport college all-leaguers, a rare three-sport college athlete, a pair of four-time all-conference selections, a surgeon, a psychotherapist and two pro draft picks.
A pretty fair group, indeed.
