Odds and ends: The Sachems reached double figures in wins for the third straight year last fall after not having done it previously since 2001. … The Sachems graduated 48 of last season’s 55 goals....Eagle-Tribune records go back through 1989 and in that span prior to last year no Sachem team had won 16 games. The only other team to make the North semis was in 2000.

Coach Christian Langlois (14th year, 123-86-39): “The success this year is going to start in goal with Cody and Logan. We have two high-quality goalkeepers who I think are the best in the league.”
