NH cops ID critical man after shooting

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Nashua police say they have not made any arrests in the shooting and critical wounding of a man in the New Hampshire city.

The victim in the Thursday night shooting has been identified as 22-year-old Danny Vorn, of Lowell, Mass.

Nashua Police Lt. Denis Linehan tells the Nashua Telegraph (http://bit.ly/19krpV3 ) Vorn remained in critical, but stable, condition at Boston Medical Center on Friday night. Vorn was shot in the back of the head.

Linehan says police haven't been able to talk to Vorn, but his friends and family have cooperated with investigators.

Linehan says investigators believe there is a connection between Vorn and his attacker and that the shooting wasn't random.

Witnesses said the shooter fled following the 9 p.m. shooting holding a silver handgun.
