NORTH ANDOVER — Anna I. (Lucas) Williams, 98, of North Andover, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Academy Manor in Andover. For their wonderful care and support, Anna's family would like to thank the staff at Academy Manor.
Anna was born in Lawrence the daughter of the late John and Pauline (Luchinskas) Lucas. She worked in the Lawrence textile mills prior to being married as well as for Harry Friedman Catering in Methuen for many years and then later retired from the Lanam Club in Andover. Anna was active in the Holy Name Society, PTA and other organizations at St. Michael's Church. She was an active communicant until very recently.
Wife of the late Arthur N. Williams, to whom she was married 51 years, she is survived by her sons, Donald A. Williams of Joshua, Texas, and David P. Williams and his wife Carolyn of North Andover; grandchildren, Beth Pitner and her husband John of Ipswich, Chris Williams and his wife Jenessa of Boulder, Colo., Cain Williams and his wife Kate of Ft. Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren, Anna and Nathanial Pitner of Ipswich and Gracie and Sadie Williams of Ft. Worth, Texas. She was also predeceased by a son, Arthur J. Williams and a sister and brother-in-law, Julia Klimas and her husband Claude.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held on Thursday 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover. Family and friends may call also on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover.
