NAPLES, Fla. — Edward F Sullivan lll, 77, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at Manor Care in Naples, Fla.
Born in Haverhill. he then moved with his parents, the late Edward F Sullivan and the late Velma Milton (Conley) Sullivan, to Plaistow, N.H., where he resided most of his life until moving to Naples, following his retirement from Western Electric and AT&T.
Edward enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Wright. While enlisted, he met his former wife, Doris W. Yates, whom he married shortly after in Newtown, Pa.
Edward leaves behind his four children, Jo Ann Frazier, Edward F Sullivan IV, Cheryl Blinn and husband Randy of Plaistow, Velma Schadone and husband Anthony of Cape Coral, Fla., and seven grandchildren, Samantha Sullivan Towler, Edward F. Sullivan V, Stephanie, and Colleen Sullivan, Rachel Frazier Smith, Jake Frazier and Logan Blinn.
Edward belonged to the American Legion Carl Davis Post 34 in Plaistow and was also a mason. He enjoyed spending time golfing and relaxing on his lanai with his love and best friend, Pat Reith, who held his hand at his passing. He will be missed by many.
