Tara Pellegrino and Joseph Scariza were married on Nov. 13, 2010 at St. Michael's Parish in North Andover, in a Nuptial Mass celebrated by Fr. John Delaney.
Tara is the daughter of Nancy and Dennis Pellegrino of North Andover. A graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, she earned her B.A. in Political Science from St. Michael's College in Vermont, and Massachusetts, and Ph.D degrees in Political Science from Boston University.
Joseph is the son of Joseph and Rosalie Scariza of Smithtown, N.Y. A graduate of Smithtown High School, he earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an M.S. in Transportation Engineering from MIT. He is currently a Traffic Engineer at Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. in Babylon, N.Y.
The maid of honor was Jennifer Murphy, best friend of the bride, and flower girls included: Lauryn Dullea and Ariana Incollingo, cousins of the bride.
Best man was Thomas Scariza, brother of the groom. Dennis Lee Pellegrino, brother of the bride, and Alessandro "Sani" McLaughlin, cousin of the bride, served as ushers. Ring bearers included: Adam Incollingo and Bryan Incollingo, cousins of the bride.
Following Mass, a reception was held at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel. Tara and Joseph traveled to Hawaii for their honeymoon, and reside in Ronkonkoma, N.Y.
