LAWRENCE — Mr. Terrence P. O'Malley, 54, of Lawrence, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 at his home.
Terry was the cherished husband of Leslie A. (Despres) O'Malley, with whom he shared 10 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of John J. "Red" O'Malley of Lynn and the late Mary A. (Curtis) O'Malley. He was a graduate of Lynn Tech.
Terry was a creative self-taught cook who worked for My Brother's Table, One Mill Street, J. Brian's Pub and Grille, and, for the past two years, Ashland Farms in North Andover.
He enjoyed following local and national politics, reading fiction and mysteries, and was an avid Patriots fan. He was a loving husband, father and brother who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife and father, Terry is survived by a daughter, Shannon O'Malley of Livingston, Mont.; a son, Joshua O'Malley of Manchester, N.H.; four brothers, Timothy (Elaine) O'Malley of Peabody, Reverend Leonard O'Malley of St. Peter Parish- Cambridge, Patrick (Sue) O'Malley of Amherst, N.H. and Rev. Keith Perleberg of Charlestown; his father-in-law, William Despres of Methuen; two sisters-in-law, Lynne (Ross) Barnett of Methuen and Lori (Sam) Dulmage of Dracut, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Lucy Parish, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Terry's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 18 Canton St., Stoughton MA 02072.
