Only six entries beat Burt

New shirts are in. Four weeks to go in the 2018 "I Beat Burt" contest as executive sports editor Bill Burt poses with the new sports tech T-shirt.

Somebody is on a bit of a roll.

OK, it's me.

I really only picked one upset, Tampa Bay over Carolina, and it proved to be enough at as only six entries picked more than my 11 winners this past weekend.

That's all it takes many weeks, one game.

Another game that earned me extra points on many entries was the N.Y. Giants home victory over the Chicago Bears. Was that upset? Not with the Bears missing their starting quarterback, Mitch Trubisky, in my opinion.

Week 14 is going to be a good one, with a few interesting tilts -- Philly at Dallas, L.A. Rams at Chicago, Baltimore at Kansas City and Minnesota at Seattle.

Nine games on the slate have point spreads of five points or less, which means an 8-7 record isn't out of the question.

Week 13 winners
