LAWRENCE – A second Tedeschi’s store clerk this week was robbed at knife point early Wednesday morning.
A slim man walked into the convenience store at 390 So. Union St. at 2 a.m. and robbed the clerk of cash and a few cans of Red Bull energy drink. The suspect fled the store, running east on Exeter Street.
He’s approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, wearing a dark hoodie with scruffy facial hair, according to a description included in a Lawrence police report.
Video surveillance tape from the store was confiscated by police.
A similar hold up occurred early Sunday morning at the Tedeschi’s at 208 So. Broadway. Police also seized video surveillance tape from that holdup.
Two face marijuana charges in Methuen
METHUEN — Police arrested two people on marijuana trafficking charges yesterday morning.
Johnny Luna, 34, and Keeley McPhillips, 30, both of 887 Riverside Drive, were arrested at 11:14 a.m. at home yesterday and charged with trafficking marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act.

Arrest: Wilfredo Rivera, 25, 67 Farnham St., Lawrence, driving with a revoked license, lanes violation, Broadway, 1:27 p.m.
Hit and run: A vehicle hit three parked vehicles and drove off, 25 Annis St., 5:32 p.m.
Vandalism: Caller reports vehicle window broken, 70 Union St., 11:25 p.m.
Arrest: Kye Vass, 26, of 121 George St., Roxbury; driving after license revocation, Broadway and Methuen, 4:47 a.m., Tuesday.
Attempted break: K & M Communications, 191 So. Broadway, Rear door damaged, 12:55 p.m.
Break: 247 Farnham St., air conditioner pushed in and house broken into, items strewn around a bedroom and assorted jewelry stolen, 6 p.m..
Arrest: 14-year-old Lawrence boy, armed robbery, armed robbery with a screw driver (two counts) and assault and battery, 8:30 p.m., North Parish Road (Sullivan Stadium Park).
