A headline in yesterday's The Eagle-Tribune did not accurately portray Methuen School Committee member Barbara Grondine's statement about the 21st Century Community Learning Centers after-school program in Methuen. Grondine called the salaries in the program a "waste of the taxpayers' money." She didn't say the program itself is a waste and is a supporter of the program.
