BRENTWOOD — A former Plaistow man faces charges from county prosecutors for allegedly sexually assaulting a young girl in Plaistow on multiple occasions.

Charles "Kip" Keefe, 63, formerly of 15 Culvert St., Apt 6 in Plaistow, faces two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and three counts of felonious sexual assault for having sexual contact with a girl between age 5 and 7 multiple times between January 2008 and January of this year, according to Superior Court indictments. Keefe also faces one count of simple assault for putting his tongue in the victim's mouth, according to the indictment.

He allegedly told the victim the assaults were "OK because he is only 63 years old," according to a police affidavit.

Keefe was indicted by a grand jury on the charges earlier this month.

He is expected to appear in court within the next month for arraignment.

Keefe's current address is listed as 16 Friendship St. in Billerica, Mass.
