LAWRENCE — If you want to vote, tonight is your last chance to register for the June 15 special election to fill Mayor William Lantigua's former House seat.

Residents can register at the City Clerk's office in City Hall, 200 Common St., until 8 p.m.

Voters will cast ballots in the election for either Democrat Marcos Devers, 59, or Independent Rafael Gadea, 49, to fill the 16th Essex State Representative seat, which covers Lawrence's north side. The seat has been vacant since Feb. 13, when Lantigua gave up the post after being sworn in as mayor.

Both Devers and Gadea are engineers.

The seat will again come up for grabs in the September primary and November general election.
