SALEM — All fashionistas are invited to party in style as The Mall at Rockingham Park celebrates Fashion's Night Out, a global initiative taking place across the country to celebrate the best of fall fashion. Shoppers will be blown away as retailers throughout the mall roll out the red carpet on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 8.

Fashion's Night Out at The Mall at Rockingham Park will begin at 6 p.m., with Fashion Vignettes at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. at Center Court showcasing spectacular fall looks from White House Black Market boutique, Cache, and J. Jill to name a few.

From 6 to 9 p.m., participating retailers will offer special in store events and surprises with their own Fashion's Night Out events. Zanni opens campaign headquarters

METHUEN — The public is invited to attend as mayoral candidate Stephen Zanni opens his campaign headquarters tonight at 421 Merrimack St.

Zanni will host the opening at 6:30 p.m. He is also holding a rally Monday at Jackson's Restaurant, 478 Lowell St.

The rally will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Attendees are asked to contribute $30 to his campaign.

Participants sought for flu vaccine study

HAVERHILL - Dr. Michael McCartney of ActivMed Practices & Research will be taking part in a nationwide clinical research study for the flu vaccine. The study is currently enrolling individuals ages 65 and older who qualify and choose to participate. All qualified participants will receive active flu vaccines and study procedures at no cost. NORTH ANDOVER — Anglers of all ages are invited to take part in a fishing festival at Sudden Pond in Harold Parker State Forest Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

MassWildlife Angler Education Volunteer Instructors will be on hand to assist. Equipment is provided.

SALEM — Salemhaven has a few rental spaces still available for the Annual Fall Fair Fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be held rain or shine.

There will be craftspeople, vendors, a white elephant table, baked goods, food, a children's area, live music with Bill Foley from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and Dianne's miniature horse from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

HAVERHILL — Winnekenni Castle will host its first Fairy House Day on Sunday, Grandparents Day, at 1 p.m. This event is recommended for children ages 5 to 12. Admission is free.
