LONDONDERRY — An early morning car accident yesterday on Interstate 93 involved six vehicles and sent one person to the hospital.
The Londonderry Fire Department and state police responded to the crash at 12:50 a.m. yesterday on I-93 north near Exit 4.
Only one person was injured and transported to Elliot Hospital with a suspected head injury, according to fire officials.
Initially, a medical helicopter was called, but then was canceled when EMTs were able to stabilize the patient, fire officials said.
No information was available from state police yesterday on the cause of the crash or the names of anyone involved.
