HAVERHILL — When Marcos Muniz had an argument with his wife on Sunday, he did more than just yell, police said.
Muniz, 35, of 90 Bellevue Ave., broke six windows in his home and a laptop computer and a play station, according to a police report.
Then he went outside and broke the windshield of his wife's 1993 Honda, the report said.
"These are very serious charges," Haverhill District Court Judge Patricia Dowling said at Muniz's arraignment Monday.
Muniz is charged with malicious destruction of property and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
Dowling also imposed a one-year restraining order against Muniz which his wife requested.
Noting that four young children were in the home at the time of the alleged rampage, the judge said, "No one should have to live that way."
Dowling ordered Muniz held on $10,000 cash bail and scheduled a pretrial conference for Feb. 28. Muniz cooperated with police and admitted he did all the damage that was alleged, according to the police report.
