PLAISTOW — Tony Dibartolomeo, Timberlane’s music director and conductor of the Timberlane Community Band, characterized the upcoming New Hampshire Festival of Bands as a “win-win” situation.
This musical collaboration, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 17, will take place at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center, Greenough Road.
It will feature the Rockingham Wind Symphony and performances by the Timberlane, Chelmsford and Windham Community Bands.
“Not only do we have the opportunity to provide our community with entertaining and high quality musical productions,” Dibartolomeo said, “we also have a world class venue to showcase our talented musicians.”
In addition, he said envisions this festival as an expanding, annual event where audiences can experience a wide range of musical groups. It also provides a unique opportunity for area community bands to forge successful bonds and partnerships with one another.
